U.S. Census 2010Closed Captioned U.S. Census 2010 Video
"In 2010, the U.S. census will define who we are as a nation." Every residence will receive a short questionnaire that is simple and fast to complete and return. It will be mailed or delivered to households from February - March 2010. The long questionnaires called the American Community Survey have already been distributed and filled out from a small percentage of the population. That questionaire is an on-going survey, is sent to a sample of the population, tells us what the population looks like and how it lives, helps communities determine where to locate services and allocate resources. It's a nationwide survey designed to provide communities a fresh look at how they are changing. The good news is that there will be new data information on the deaf population from that survey. It will be available in a few months. For more information go to: http://2010.census.gov/2010census/
