Perkins Vocational/Applied Technology Education Act Print E-mail

The purpose of the Carl D. Perkins Vocational and Applied Technology Act is to provide funds to support the improvement of vocational education programs and provide support services for students with special needs who are enrolled in programs of vocational education to ensure that students are prepared for entry and advancement in paid and unpaid employment in current or emerging occupations requiring other than a baccalaureate or advanced degree.
