At-Risk K-3 Grants Print E-mail
The Early Elementary Innovative Grants (at Risk K-3 Grants) provide funds to assist districts in addressing the needs of kindergarten through third grade students at-risk of educational failure. These targeted funds support low pupil-teacher ratios, class size reduction, parent involvement, utilization of services provided by other community agencies, developmentally appropriate practices and innovative program designs. Iowa Code section 279.51 govern these grants.
