State Report Cards
The No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 requires each state to provide an annual report card to inform stakeholders about the progress of students and schools on indicators of student achievement and other information that is related to student success.
Education Statistics

The Education Statistics section of the D.E. website is a repository of the information published by the Iowa Department of Education. Information can be found by drilling down through the various categories of information or by searching for a particular document through the repository search feature at the bottom of the page. Most departmental reports are downloadable in the pdf format while, most data and applications can either be download in either Microsoft Excel or Word formats. If your computer doesnot have a pdf reader, Excel or Word visit the D.E. Site Help page to download the readers.
