If a district joined the consortium this year, but would like to opt out in subsequent years, are they allowed to do so?


Answer:
Yes a district can opt out of a consortium after a year. However, they would have to draft their own plan for implementation, staff development and evaluation. Basically, they would have to fill out the RFP for E2T2, submit the application for review and then implement with regard to their CSIP and their signed assurances. Also they would not be eligible for any of the competitive dollars.
