General/Funding/Grant Agreement - All Articles (4)

What will be the duration of the grant period?

The schools that were selected for the 2005-06 year will have from October 1, 2005 through June 30, 2006 to expend funds received.

How much of a school's FFVP grant allocation can the State agency advance to the school?

None. The school must submit claims for reimbursement for any expenditure before receiving any funds.

Will FNS provide a prototype State/Local Grant Agreement?

No. However, State agencies must ensure that at a minimum all pertinent requirements and applicable terms and conditions are included in their agreement with school food authorities on behalf of participating schools.

How will the funds be disbursed?

Funds will be disbursed as reimbursement based on claims submitted.
