Chapter 321J.22 of the Code of Iowa explains requirements for persons driving under the influence within the state of Iowa.

Mine Safety & Health Administration Print E-mail
The Iowa Department of Education administers a federal grant from the U.S. Department of Labor’s Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA), which provides funds for training and services delivered to mine owners/operators/contractors in the State of Iowa.  The state grant program started in 1969 under the Coal Mine Safety and Health Act. The 1977 amendments to the act authorized MSHA to spend up to $10 million annually to assist states in providing health and safety training to miners.
