A major goal of the grant is to build partnerships among higher education institutuions and PK-12 schools to support a seamless system for new professionals, pre-service through induction.  Funds from the grant support activities that bring together teacher educators from higher education and districts to address the needs of teacher candidates and new teachers.

TQE funds support: 1) the Iowa Mentoring and Induction Institute in partnership with the Unversity of Northern Iowa (UNI) and the Iowa State Education Association (ISEA) and 2) Iowa Associaton of Colleges of Teacher Education (IACTE) conference activities.

Teacher Quality Enhancement Grant All Teams Meeting
The Teacher Quality Enhancement Grant will have a two-day training/meeting for all teams, chairs, etc.
