Iowa Department of Education

The Iowa Department of Education recently released The Annual Condition of Education Report for 2007. The 262-page report serves as a tool for Iowa’s citizens by providing a wide range of data about the state of prekindergarten through 12th grade education in Iowa. Iowa Department of Education Director Judy Jeffrey provides highlights of the report in a two-part podcast. This first podcast covers three topics: Iowa and Its Schools, Who is Teaching Our Students, and Learning Opportunities. The second podcast will discuss student progress and the return on investment. An accompanying PowerPoint presentation provides further detail.
