The Iowa Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (IACTE) 2007 Fall Conference served as a springboard for the Collaborative Plus initiative to better prepare new teachers to meet the needs of all learners. This conference, sponsored by the Teacher Quality Enhancement (TQE) Grant in partnership with IACTE, provided teacher educators opportunities to discuss/explore theories and methods critical in preparing new teachers for today’s increasingly diverse classrooms

More in depth work is planned for the Experts Learning & Sharing Conference scheduled for January 10 & 11, 2008.
