Hotel
A block of rooms at the Gateway Inn has been held until October 17 at the reduced rate of $95 plus tax. When registering, request the "Iowa Department of Education" conference rate.

Expenses
The TQE Grant will provide an expense stipend to offset anticipated travel expenses for participants who reside outside Ames, attend both days, and whose employer is not paying expenses. The following four-zone system for stipends is based on distances traveled between participant home addresses and Ames. Substitute teacher pay will be paid to districts up to $140.00 per day.

Zone One:Residing in Ames $23
Zone Two: Outside Ames = $93
Zone Three: 61-120 miles= $246
Zone Four: More than 120 miles = $350
