OWI Community College Coordinator Fall Seminar Print E-mail


The Iowa Department of Education, in conjunction with the Iowa Department of Public Health, the Iowa Department of Transportation, and Prevention Research Institute will host two ½ day seminars for the Community Community College Coordinators of the PRIME For Life OWI program in Iowa.

During these sessions, we will:

  • review legislative changes regarding the education of OWI offenders clarify educational
  • requirements associated with Zero Tolerance, Minor in Possession, and Operating While Intoxicated
  • review the 12-hour PRI syllabus
  • discuss fees associated with providing the OWI program
  • discuss expectations of the delivery of the educational program
  • provide you with updated contact information

In addition, you will have the opportunity to ask questions, and to network with others – plus those attending will be given 3 CEU credits.
