Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), Federal Part B, Grants to States, LEA Print E-mail

To ensure that all children with disabilities have available to them a free appropriate public education that includes special education and related services to meet their unique needs.   Funds are used to support programs targeted towards social, emotional and behavioral education of students and to monitor school district and AEA compliance with federal IDEA special education laws.
