The Project Easier Plus data collection system includes Career and Technical Education (CTE) screens that:

For Secondary Education Programs:
  • Identify Operational CTE programs
  • Identify Courses in a CTE Program- linked with the Fall BEDS Report
  • Students in a CTE program - linked with the Fall BEDS Report
  • Districts further identify the CTE students as concentrators, completers and occupationally proficient
  • Project Easier + student data is linked with the Senior Placement and the ITEDS files
  • The creation of a view only summary report reflecting the program data submitted by each district and community college

For Community College CTE Programs:

  • Identify Operational CTE programs
  • Colleges identify the CTE students as concentrators, completers and occupationally proficient
  • Colleges identify the placement information CTE program completers
For Community College Tech-Prep Programs:
  • Identify CTE programs with Tech-Prep Students enrolled.
  • Colleges identify Tech-Prep enrollment 
  • Colleges identify the CTE students as concentrators, completers and occupationally proficient
  • Colleges identify the placement information Tech-Prep completers
For Secondary CTE programs receiving State Vocational Assistance:
  • Districts report instructional expenses associated with teaching state Board Approved CTE programs and receive prorated State funding.
For Secondary, AEA or Community College recipients receiving Perkins Federal Assistance
  • Independent applicants or consortia fiscal agents report Federal expenses associated with the approved application to receive Perkins federal; assistance.
