Speech & Language

beaniowaslplowres.jpg Speech and Language Services are supported by Area Education Agencies. Each agency has designated supervisor and lead personnel to guide implementation of federal and state requirements of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act of 2004. In addition, speech-language pathologists from the field participate in statewide committee work to enhance the development of technical assistance and professional development to meet the speech and language needs of children birth to 21.
