Administrative Rules of Special Education

The Iowa Administrative Rules of Special Education became effective on 01/20/2010.  Revisions were made to bring the rules into alignment with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act of 2004 and implementing federal regulations issued in 2006 (34 C.F.R. PT . 300).
