This webpage provides information and updates about the ARRA of 2009 as it relates to Iowa schools.
The ARRA provides funds for specific areas of education to be distributed by states. These funds are anticipated to be available for two fiscal years.
Educators must clearly understand the principles and assurances of the ARRA and our role in the federal stimulus package. This includes spending funds quickly to save and create jobs; improving student achievement through school improvement reform; and ensuring transparency, reporting, and accountability.
