The
Iowa Professional Development Model
Training
Manual
|
The Iowa Professional Development Model (IPDM) described in this training manual is a collaborative effort of the Iowa Department of Education and a stakeholders group representing area education agencies (AEAs), professional organizations (teachers, administrators, school boards), local education agencies (LEAs), higher education, and other providers of professional development in the state of Iowa. The model reflects their study, collaboration, reflection and negotiation and provides an invaluable roadmap to the conduct of staff development for educators in Iowa. To access all the parts of the IPDM training manual on this site, you may click on the links in the left column below. Additionally, to explore the components of the model itself, you may click on components shown on the graphic. The manual is offered in two formats: .doc files are helpful for customizing manual pages for your school, and .pdf* files are preferred for reliable printing. |
