JOHN WALSH

John V. Walsh graduated from Loras College in 1967 with a BA in Political Science. Subsequently he received a Masters degree in History from Loras in 1982. He has spent most of his professional life in banking, specializing in mortgage lending. He began his career with Dubuque Savings and Loan Association (1967-1986), and worked for Dubuque Bank and Trust Company from 1986- 2002. He is currently a Senior Development Officer at Loras College in Dubuque. He has been active in community affairs in various housing programs, his parish, and is a past President of the Dubuque County Historical Society. He and his wife Sheila have three grown daughters and four grandchildren.
