C.  RULES FOR ADOPTION

1.   ARC 5271B - Amends the Board’s Code of Ethics by reflecting current Board policies,
procedures, and recent statutory amendments

2.  ARC 5270B - Corrects a cite to a recently renumbered rule

3. ARC 5276B - Remove the $50 cap on the use of candidate campaign funds to purchase tickets to meals that are part of another candidate’s fundraiser

4. ARC 5278B - Amends rule on placement of a correction notice to resolve a “paid for by” violation to reflect current Board policies and procedures

5. ARC 5277B - Inserts a “first time prior notice” provision in the process of a permanent organization making a one-time contribution being assessed a civil penalty

6. ARC 5268B - Reflects the Board procedure of placing on its Web site a list of governmental positions that cannot engage in political activities for education purposes

7. ARC 5269B - Amends process for officials/employees of regulatory agencies to obtain consent to sell or lease goods or services to regulated entities to reflect statutory amendment; adds “blanket consent” provision based on current Board policy

8. ARC 5266B - Amends process for members of the Governor’s Office to obtain consent to sell or lease goods or services to lobbyists and clients to reflect statutory amendments; adds “blanket consent” provision based on current Board policy

9. ARC 5267B - Adds Iowa Code section 8.7 to the list of items for which the Board may impose discipline for violations
