A.  Call to order

B.   Complaint by Iowa Democratic Party regarding advertisements by the Iowa Future Fund

C. Adoption of Administrative Rules

1. 4.59(1) is amended to provide that a campaign report filed electronically that is late due to a problem with the electronic filing system will not be assessed a penalty.

 

2. 8.11(1) is amended to provide that lobbyist report delinquencies will be based on a year the lobbyist is registered and not a calendar year (the reports are filed quarterly meaning that the January report actually covers the last quarter of the previous year).

 

3. 9.4(5) is amended to permit the Board to retain $2.00 of any civil penalty for a late-filed report (that is not ultimately waived by the Board/court of law) to cover certain costs.
