• CALL TO ORDER

Pursuant to 21.8 of the Code of Iowa, the meeting will be held telephonically because of the impossibility and impracticability of convening an in-person meeting in Des Moines to discuss a single agenda item as well as the necessity to meet in advance of the next in-person meeting.

• APPROVAL OF MINUTES – Defer approval of November 29, 2011 minutes to next in-person Board meeting.

•    ADJOURNMENT TO CLOSED SESSION –

In accordance with the provisions of Iowa Code section 21.5(1) “c” & “g”, the Board will move into closed session to discuss the November 8th complaint from Matt Whitaker regarding the redistricting map approved by Polk County on  October 25, 2011.

•    RETURN TO OPEN SESSION –

Entertain motion on matter discussed in  closed session.
