Consumer Complaint?

The Consumer Protection Division protects consumers from fraud and ensures fair competition in the marketplace.


The division enforces laws that protect buyers from false or misleading advertisements or sales practices.


It also enforces laws that ensure consumers get information they need to help them make buying or financial decisions.

Someone walks into a bank and says he’d like to withdraw all the money from your account. The teller says, “What’s the password?” The guy doesn’t know, but he guesses. ”Um, it’s 123456.” The teller hands him the money and he leaves.
