Statement
of Iowa Attorney General Tom Miller
The
U.S. Supreme Court today declined to hear the Microsoft case on direct
appeal from the Federal District Court.
Iowa
Attorney General Tom Miller, leader of the 19-State Microsoft Working
Group, commented:
"We
are disappointed that the Supreme Court declined to hear arguments in
the Microsoft case at this time. We continue to believe that prompt
and final resolution of this case is in the public interest, and that
the Supreme Court is the most appropriate forum for that resolution.
Nevertheless, we look forward to presenting our case to the United States
Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit."
