Requirements by Exam
Salespersons 3 YEARS = $125
- Must be 18 years of age
at the time of application - no residency or citizenship requirement.
- Undergo a
history and background investigation. Note: This process alone can take up to a minimum of 4 weeks, and quite possibly more.
The backgrounds are valid for 210 calendar days and a completed
application must be received within that time frame.
Take the following education:
a 60-hour pre-license course from an approved
Complete the following three courses from an
12-hours Buying Practices
12-hours Listing Practices
12-hours Developing Professionalism and Ethical Practices
The above mentioned education may be taken in any order. All
four classes must be less than one year old at the time a
completed application is received at the Commission office.
- After completing the 60-hour pre-license
course successfully pass the state and national portions of the
examination. Each portion of the exam is valid until the
last working day of the sixth month following the pass date.
Example: An exam passed on any date in May of 2014 would be
valid until November 26, 2014. Applications must be
received in the Commission office while both portions of the
exam are valid.

At this time you must be sponsored by broker.

Persons with an active license in another state may apply by
Rule 5.3 as applicable.

fees for all exams are $100.00.
