Enter the portion of the amount shown on line 69 you wish to have refunded to you.

Paper-filers: Allow at least 4 weeks to receive your refund. Errors delay return processing. Twenty-three percent of paper returns received last year had errors. Errors delay a refund up to six additional months.

E-filers: Receive your refund in two weeks or less. Only 6% of electronic returns needed review last year; most of these reviews are resolved quickly. Iowa has several options for e-filing. Some of them are free. Direct deposit is available only to e-filers.
