LICENSE MAY BE REVOKED IF DEBT NOT PAID
Is your occupation licensed by the State of Iowa ? Do you hunt or fish? Do you also have unpaid court fines, tax debt, or fines with the Department of Natural Resources? If so, be sure and respond to the Iowa Department of Revenue if you receive a bill from its Central Collections Unit. Your license can be suspended or revoked if the debt is not paid.
The Central Collections Unit will send a letter asking the licensee to make payment arrangements. Those who do not respond in 20 days will then receive a notice from the appropriate licensing authority. If payment arrangements are not made, the license will be suspended or revoked.
Questions should be directed to Wayne Cooper, manager, Central Collections Unit, at email@example.com or 515-725-0229.
